Conspiracy?

Crap. Just twelve more mins, n gerrard's to ruin all non-chelsea fans' hopes of a superb red victory.... If he really wants to move to chelsea, there're better and more moral ways to do than deliberately scoring a goal for his new side. Think gerrard's played his last match in a liverpool shirt. Next time we see him play, he'll be in a blues jersey.

Why does it have to rain after a spa assessment??? It's like, we're all looking forward to some sports after phy spa, but ended up being dismissed a period early. Wtj.

Ha ha. Went for band after pe. Only warmed up n tuned... erp.

Phy s. Can't believe the teacher's so many wrong ans! Oh yeah. Vandalism rox, if i'm not the victim...

O level results announced today. For those who did well, great! For those who din do as well, nvm, cos life's great, iseneh? Ha ha. And I got pissed by people who just looked at the no. of ten or eleven a1s from each sch to guage the overall standard. It's like, ten, eleven a1s only mean that that sch's some outstanding pple. The overall results may not be necessarily better, if there're a lot of pple who got nine, ten or eleven F9s.

A riddle..

"As a stay-at-home dad, I spend a lot of time cooking and cleaning. My
four-year old daughter, Melynn, is at that stage where she always likes
to lend a hand. So I usually give her some simple task to do. After
all, if her two older brothers are any indication, in a few short years
she won't lift a finger to help around the house.

"Now, Melynn knows her numbers, but she's still too young to understand
math. The other day while we were making brownies, we had a
conversation that went something like this. She said, "Daddy, is 60 more than 30?"

Yes", I said. "60 is more than 30."

She asked, "Is 60 more than a hundred?"

I said, "No, 60 and a hundred are the same."

"Oh." she thought. "How about 90? Is 90 more than a hundred?"

I answered, "Yes, 90 is more than a hundred."

All of my answers were correct. The question is, what were we doing?

Think you know the answer?

Not bad!

Soccer blues...

Ha ha. Niaoed martin (the only arsenal supporter), that arsenal drew one all with saints. His reply rox: "at least they din lose". An optimistic view of the situation...

Stj...

Ha ha. Stj today. Not bad. Had band pract in the morn first... Band pract's now increased to seven times a week, inc individuals on sun. So, come for band concert!!!

Anyway, talking about blogs. Me n ee suan (sl) were on the mrt (after band) discussing blogs. Not bad. Know more blogs now. Ha ha. Btw, eh.. some guy actually'd his or her third blog in just a yr. Erp!

Went orchard lib to mug a little later. Quite nice, though i prefer woodlands lib. Bigger, more tables. Should have mugged an hour more, since so many pple're late!!! Saw wj on the train when we're about to get off... Ha ha. Mugged also at the mrt station, cos so many pple're one hour late...

Stj at fish n co! Quite gd! The fish i ordered's.. er.. part of a healthy diet. Some veg on top of a grilled piece of fish. Some fun, violent n rowdy activities after dinner... Introduced the scissors-paper-stone-cum-whacking game, which's fun! First, whacked with joel n wj, before playing with jasmine n jess. Let them whack me, while I only gently "hit" them. Ha ha. Btw, some vigorous spamming going on, since i still have HUNDRED sms to waste in the last two days of feb.. Spammed the wrong marcus!!! Damn. Ended up spamming our senior... erp. Oh yeah. We're all watching espn on the tv screen before dinner. Some highlights from last wk's fa cup n champions league. We're all clapping n hi-fiving when chelsea's games were broadcast, n when we saw bridge's injury.. Ha ha. Too bad, too few chelsea supporters, only marcus n gloria.

Got home. Arsenal definitely out of premiership race now, after their one all draw with southampton... Ha ha.

Oh yeah. Nice reactions from the guys n mm when jess told us that there's phy spa on mon. Stunned, n even asked what skills to be tested! Ha ha. Remember: phy spa skill c n d on mon!

O levels

So, o level results'll be announced next mon... Good luck everyone!

Talking about o levels. Can't believe my class mortal, martin, actually prepared an examination paper for some terrorist sch under al-qaeda after o levels last yr. Qns inc coordinates of some place, and the diff parts of some rifle (ak-47?). The printing's very gd lor, very similar to any real exam script. I'd have preferred to spend the free time doing other stuff, like playing comp games...

Tiring....

Cross-country today. Have to say, the ground isn't gd for running at all, and macritchie's better. And it din help that me n a few others (vernon, yk, ken, qiqi, andrew) actually walked all the way there from hc. Ha ha. Nvm. Went there early, and did some shopping. Not bad! For the first part of the run, was just walking with the juniors (cy n johnny). Then, din feel like walking any more, so jogged a bit. Whatever. In all, a tiring day... Can't believe that 05a14 (my band mortal's class) only'd five pple turned up. Erp! Btw, some vigorous pushing, shoving, pulling n punching going on. Even mr. lee's a victim of it!

Anyway, more picnic during maths lect. Woke up late today (six fifteen!!!), and had to leave by six thirty... sigh. Din have any breakfast as a result. So, bought a few paos n brought them to the audi to eat. Ha ha. Joel even had some bananas! Really, maths lect's becoming a picnic. Sooner or later, we're going to da bao some nasi lemak or chicken chop into the audi...

Looking forward to tmr's stj! Meet at 5.15 pm, dhoby ghaut mrt. Those who're early can go to the orchard lib. I may be mugging there a little first. Ha ha.

End of feb...

How come time seems to pass so fast now? Just a few more days, and feb'd be ending, n there'd be a band concert (possibly my last). Again, thanks everyone for supporting band! Quite surprised to see 13 out of 18 pple writing down their names during gp today. Mrs. Goh's absent again! Ha ha. Talking about band, band practs'll increase to around FIVE times a week from next wk onwards. Sigh....

Happy birthday, mr. lee! Ha ha. Our class bought a cake for him, and think qiqi brought along some party stuff to spray pink strips onto other pple. As i was holding it during the bday song, i shook that thing along the beat. Ha ha. Must really practise my spraying!

A freak own goal today.... damn. At least, my "pts" won't be negative, as I saved a penalty. Ha ha. Goal-post's really quite small.

Bloody hell. Man Utd lost!!! Sian. Nvm. Man utd'd still progress to the next round!

Oh yeah. Talking about chem lect. Was doing gp hw (we'd to do some stupid qns from time ws) when others're doing some lect examples, as I've already finished it. Jy's called to ans a particular qn, and she hadn't done it yet. Ha ha. Her handwriting's quite diff as a result...

Btw, as a result of gloria n cheng yan kicking the roteiro down to the field, and not picking it up, the ball's lost. We thought it's with ms chen, so I trespassed into the pe store rm to look around, before going to look for ms chen. Got niaoed by zoe lim for not greeting him. Erp. Then, afternoon, we discovered that the ball's with some other class! Ha ha.

Don't worry, be happy!

Wednesday, February 23, 2005

Sian day...

Yeah. A rather boring day. Nothing much to talk about.

Some symmetry in the champions leagueresults today. Both bayern n liverpool won by the same margin (3-1), n the sore losers, arsenal n leverkusen, managed to score at injury time. Ha ha. Then, the other two matches ended in a single goal win. Not bad. Think there'd be another form of symmetry tmr: man utd to win 3-0, chelsea to lose by the same margin.

Total childishness...

Fine. Chem lect today, in which mr. lee managed to waste a lot of time, but still finish it twenty mins early! Ha ha. Talking about being predictable. He played the game "zhong1 ji2 mi4 ma3", to pick on someone to ans some qn. The guys (anything implied?) managed to guess it within three tries: first try, 50, since we think he may be lame. Then, 24: his d.o.b. Finally, 29: his age. Not bad... Twenty mins early. Went to class bench to watch a nice soccer game... Some nice controls by a few pple, though with pple camping in offside positions... u noe.

Maths lect: total slack. Today's really fries day, with pple mass-ordering fries! Ha ha. Really, think mrs tham's either a very lousy eye-sight, or a very lousy sense of smell. Diffusion quite rapid, n it's quite impossible to miss two red bags of fries.. Then, all hell broke loose, when yk started passing my tut sheet to chow, and then slowly, my desk had nothing on it anymore.. no tys, no notes, no nothing. Ha ha. Wj was another victim, and he could have done some damage to the opposition, if he hasn't been so naive, or jas n jy hasn't been so sly... Then, the tut sheets (mine) reached gloria n qiqi, n... acts of vandalism should really really be heavily prosecuted... Niaoed jo by saying that i don't want to niao him. Actually, not bad, as no notes mean no copying, n we're forced to slack. Ha ha.

Phy tut ended early, cos for phy, we're rather on track, n ms's not feeling that well. Getting rammed three times by yc doesn't really help. With temps reaching 35 deg lately, we all must drink more water! So, take care!

Anyway, band today. Tiring day of sectionals (for the rest of the section). Ha ha. Cos, they're playing continuously for two hours, while i'm just clapping hands. Nvm. Freaked them out a little (or a lot), by opening the door, said "ladies first", and went in first! Ha ha. Was started to show more feminine qualities in band..

Snort!

Just a few major announcements first. 04S79 peeps, remember to prepare a list of qns to ask mrs foo about transport in mammals by tmr. Eh. don't think there're any more..

Did i mention that yesterday, my family passed by this playground near a hawker centre, and my bro actually went to a horse and ride it! Think my mum asked him to act his age. Ha ha. Just too bad that my mum won't see the "other side of me"...

Sian... during phy tutorial, was humming some funeral song, and got some stares from irene w and yk (both sitting beside me). Ha ha. Couldn't help but laugh. To make things worse, I actually breathed in while laughing!!! Result, some loud snort came out. Mr remedios' look on his face told the whole story, not to forget the laughters or shock seen from many others...

Mr. lee was late for chem tut today! Ws and wj were supposed to go through halogens with us... too bad, no one listened, and they lost interest after a min. Ha ha.

Band today. Learnt an exercise for air support. I was forced to demo once by lying on a few tables, and demonstrate the use of diaphragms... How it goes: first, lie down (legs on the table too: din do so first time round). Then, put books on ur diaphragm area. Took breaths of eight counts, hold for another eight, and release for eight counts, at the same time ensuring that the books stayed at that height. In other words, use diaphragm to support. Ha ha. Have to do it every night....

Start of modules! Hurray! Though i'd prefer some more playing time...

Newcastle won chelsea one-nil!!! Excellent. Total joke, as chelsea sub three players at halftime, n ended the game with nine men (cudicini sent off, bridge injured). Ha ha. What a prelude to the champions league match against barcelona... No robben, no goals!

Thunderbolt!!!

"Pikachu, thunderbolt!!!"

Ha ha. Again, another out-of-the-world statement...

storm
You are Storm!

You are very strong and very protective of those
you love. You are in tune with nature and are
very concerned with justice and humanity.
Unfortunately, certain apprehensions and fears
are very hard for you to overcome, and can
often inhibit you when most need to be strong.

Which X-Men character are you most like?
brought to you by Quizilla

Ha ha.

Smoke...

"Cyndaquil, SMOKESCREEN!!!!!!"

Ha ha. Too bad, the smoke's in the real world, not in that fantasy world. Went to the temple again today, as many of my family members, inc me, "fan4 tai4 shui4' this year. Went there quite early, and managed to get home by twelve... The haze inside the temple's just horrible. Was forced to tears.. so sad, right?

Oh yeah. More and more forest fires lately. Just hope no one'd get injured by any mishaps.

Anyway, bio lect on fri. Some interesting analogies drawn. Mugging: stimulus: hw. Receptors: eyes. Effectors: hands and brain. Action: Do hw. Effect: less hw. Either do finish hw and slack, or finish hw and find other things to mug. So, negative or positive feedback???

Hope u guys enjoy the vertical challenge today! Remembered last year, there's a class outing after some of us've finished, and around ten pple turned out. Let's see... we ate at nydc, right? Then, jess won a roller blade. After dinner, remembered four of us (ms, ws, wj and me) stayed on to do some light window-shopping and play cards somewhere near the river. Ha ha. Pls correct me if any of this is wrong!

Man Utd won everton!!! Ronaldo rox, and rooney!!!!!!

Time tunnel blues. Still undecided on how to present it. At least, the musical aspect.

It rained... again

Friday:

Ha ha. Great!!! More rain again in the afternoon , which means that the field's on its way to recovery. Ha ha. And it rained at the appropriate time too, just before band pract, as I din want to go for band wet n dirty (not that I haven't done this before). Btw, we got caught for playing soccer in sch uni by mr. lee.. Ha ha. Had to thank him, cos we later saw mr. pang on the second floor looking down at the field. If we'd continued playing...

Lao yu sheng after school! Many thanks to mr. remedios for coming up with the idea and inviting the teachers and us! Ha ha. Definitely a great activity, and the things that we wish for.... Ha ha. Wonderful to lao with the teachers, as this is the only time in jc that we got to do so. We only lao at the class bench last year. Ha ha. Btw, some of us thought of poling weijian yesterday. His birthday! Happy birthday! Would have welcomed a flag-poling experience, if I'm not that "lucky one"...

Went for dramafeste after band with the rest of my section. Our first section outing! Though only five pple went. Ha ha. Great drama, great emcees, and a nice band performance after that. Apollo won six out of the eight prizes at stake!!! Hurray!!! The emcees: they really need legs, with those jokes that they told. And the band performance.... crappy songs about vegetables. All chorus of the songs they sang involved vegetables (bananas, sweet potatoes for instance). Ha ha. Great entertainment value... The flute player and the violinist rox! Too bad we had to sit on the floor.. no more space. Our butts hurt! Got home just before twelve, and slept.

Oh yeah. I only had one meal yesterday in school!!! Sian... was starving by the end of the day...

Sat:

Interesting.. how come you all only update when I'm not online? And, who's that anonymous guy? Must be my naughty brother!

Btw, I finally have a female for my angel n another one for my mortal in band... Ha ha.

Arsenal: bergkamp sent off! Excellent. He's now suspended for the next epl game next wk...

Latest update: sheffield united scored a late penalty to bring the scores level at 1-1.. Hurray!!! Bergkamp missed one match, and arsenal had to play one more match... Not bad at all.

Everton vs man utd later... Interesting game.

Thursday, February 17, 2005

It rained!!!

Since mr. lee commented that I din write about the chem pract today, here it goes.

Not a bad chem pract today. First qa in jc!!! Ha ha. Organic chem. Interesting parts: burning of some organic compounds, and I may have accidentally burnt the benchtop, due to the burning of some fuels that've spilled... Test-tube blowing's fun, though I din really try it.

Ha ha. Great! It rained today! No need to wait for the sprinkler to get to our side of the field. Though we could't play soccer as a result, the rain actually helped, as I'd adequate time to have a drink and change into clean attire before band practice started.

emb

Think the emb system in hc (college)'s pathetic. Just look at the no. of pple who have viewed the msgs! Only a few from each class... Quite sad, considering that a few of the announcements're quite important. Just a few.

Anyway, the clarinets section've adopted a shampoo name for everyone of us! Ha ha. It all started when ee suan (sl) called wen li (one of our juniors) "rejoice", and we sort of gave everyone some name so that rejoice won't feel so "lonely". Guess what mine's? A cute one!!!

The Fool Card
You are the Fool card. The Fool fearlessly begins
the journey into the unknown. To do this, he
does not regard the world he knows as firm and
fixed. He has a seemingly reckless disregard
for obstacles. In the Ryder-Waite deck, he is
seen stepping off a cliff with his gaze on the
sky, and a rainbow is there to catch him. In
order to explore and expand, one must disregard
convention and conformity. Those in the throes
of convention look at the unconventional,
non-conformist personality and think What a
fool. They lack the point of view to understand
The Fool's actions. But The Fool has roots in
tradition as one who is closest to the spirit
world. In many tribal cultures, those born with
strange and unusual character traits were held
in awe. Shamans were people who could see
visions and go on journeys that we now label
hallucinations and schizophrenia. Those with
physical differences had experience and
knowledge that the average person could not
understand. The Fool is God. The number of the
card is zero, which when drawn is a perfect
circle. This circle represents both emptiness
and infinity. The Fool is not shackled by
mountains and valleys or by his physical body.
He does not accept the appearance of cliff and
air as being distinct or real. Image from: Mary

Not too bad...

Not a bad day after all, but, quite a sian day.. No interesting lessons, and nothing really nice happens.

Heard that "international physics olympiad" would soon be changed to "international applied maths olympiad", as the qns involve more mathematics than physics. Ha ha.

Total Defence Day...

Er... happy Total Defence Day, everyone! Ha ha.

Shall only do a brief update, since I've lots to do later on... Nearly died from high blood pressure during bio tut today, as qiqi lost my ans to the structured qns! Sian... was sitting at the end of the row some more. So, read the notes (phloem loading: the first qn) while mrs foo's going through the mcq qns. Luckily, she started from the row in front, the person right in front of me. Was left counting the no. of people that needed to ans qns before me, and I was taken aback that a few of the qns just require one word ans. Very much relieved when the bell went. Ha ha.

Late again for band pract, after a freak soccer session. Took full advantage of no offside being called by just camping in the opposition half. Ha ha. Otherwise, a really freaking soccer session, due to the abnormally large goalposts, the sand pitch, aching legs, large field size, and hot weather...

Missed nearly half a lecture of maths lecture, as I need to print some stuff, and, also, my stomach's calling desperately for food...

Total defence day tmr...

Ha ha. Total defence day tmr!!! Must keep clean sheet against the juniors!!!

Good Progress Awards?

Ha ha. Think ws and I should really get some form of honorable mention. Our 2.4 timings improved by more than 1 min compared to sec 4, and about 40s compared to j1.. Not bad, iseneh? Quite fun to lap people. Yet, don't really think that it's a superb timing. Must improve! More soccer! Anyway, wj got niaoed by jasmine for claiming beforehand that he can run within 10.5 mins even when sleeping.. His timing's 10s off. Ha ha. Think that's why joel and he continued to run around the sch even after 2.4.

Crapped a bit during lessons today. Maths tut: attempted not to go up n present the ans by claiming that I hope to have done so before.. don't think ms. ng's very much impressed. GP compo: tried to get some inspiration for the compo by looking at some gp notes joel n jo're already sharing. Too bad mrs goh saw us, n again, she isn't amused. Phy: crapped a bit on the factors affecting rate of change of temperature of a cooling object, by claiming that cloud cover n wind's quite a critical factor... Erp. We've a nice time tossing the soft ball around the classroom! Ha ha.

Oh yeah. Got two pple to sit together in the LT today.. ha ha.

Nice bridge sessions today.... Drawbridge: somehow, I got the queens and jacks of 3 suits, and I always got 9, 10, J and Q of spades, while the top two're with yk. Ha ha. Then, bridge after sch. Tried jacking up the bid. Only had 4 diamonds, with the largest being a jack, but still won in the end. Not bad at all.

Legs aching a little now....

IVLE: uploaded the file already. Hurray!

Once again, happy valentine's day, and happy friendship day! Where're my gifts from my angel and mortal??????

Rooney

Brillant Rooney! Scored one, and assisted an own goal. Ha ha. Poor dunne. He's superb, though he played a part in both goals: deflected one goalwards, n scored an own goal...

Sunday, February 13, 2005

Sian...

Riise

Sorry liverpool fans. Left utterly amused by riise's remark that liverpool can win the three cups, especially after their 2-0 defeat against birmingham last night... Ha ha.

Goodison Pitch

Crappy chelsea. They can only win 1-0 against an everton side which's beattie sent off in the eighth minute. Tsk tsk. Read some newspaper report claiming that the goodison pitch's not up to standards. Ha ha. If hc has that sort of grass pitch, we'll all be very very delighted. Playing on sand everyday isn't fun.

Back to football. Man city vs man utd. They really really have to win this match, or else, they can say goodbye to the title...

IVLE strikes back! Now, the server's down. How are we supposed to upload our holiday assignment?

Saturday, February 12, 2005

A fabulous two days!

Ha ha. Two days of class outing, which's fun! Yesterday, sec sch outing at ying liang's house. Great to see them again, though think it'd be quite long before we meet up again. Nvm. Interesting sharing of news n scandals. Ha ha. Don't want to talk about this much.

Today, class outing. Mainly to buy v day gifts for angel n moral (for most of us), n personal stuff for a few of them... Not a bad outing, though it's indeed quite tiring. Shopping one whole day! Ha ha. Managed to get two nice gifts for my angel n mortal. Took neoprints later, after stoning inside somerset mrt for more than ten mins...

Got home, watched lion king III, which's quite nice. Comical, as it's timon's and pumbaa's account (or version)of simba's return to power. Then, turned to power rangers: the movie, which's not bad too. Just a little boring. Not enough blood and gore...

Some picts:

Lion King III

Ha ha. Timon and Pumbaa!

Power Rangers

Er... no need to say any more.

Anyway, chelsea dominating game against everton... Beattie sent off after eight mins!

Oh yeah. Heard of that athlete from Zimbabwe? Both guy n girl. Ha ha.

Hakuna matata. What a wonderful phrase...

Damn Glazer

Glazersux

Stupid American. It's not like he's as rich as that roman @(&*Q^%, who managed to buy success for chelsea (so far). All he wants to do is to buy the club, earn personal profits, n don't give much of a damn for the overall good of the club. Man Utd doesn't need him. Man Utd just needs to beat chelsea. Too bad glazer's never going to help them do so. All the best for Shareholders United and any other groups determined to stop that american!

Another boring day. Nvm. Class outings this fri n sat. Hurray!

Anyway, new class blog template's up. Looks extremely wonderful!

Really really bored now. So, more pictures!

Ha ha. Will this make the difference?

Mac messenger

A view of the msn web client I'm using... quite an old version, but find this version being more stable (less hanging) than the later versions. Guess who I've blocked!

Spades

Since I've nothing to do now, might as well introduce u all to spades - a great card game, possibly better than bridge, as it ensures that even if u've lousy cards, u can still win.

Outline of the game:

Spades

1. Permanent trump: spades. Not sure whether it needs to be broken first. Don't really think so.

2. Bidding system: players bid the no. of tricks which they think they can win. As long as u achieve that no., say 4, u'll get 40 pts, no matter how many extra tricks u've won. If u fail to get it, u'll have a deficit of 40 pts, according to the no. u bid for.

3. Permanent partner: the guy / girl in front of u.

4. Bags. If u win more tricks than u've bidded for, the diff between the no. won n the no. bidded for'll be the no. of bags u receive. More than 9 bags, n u'll get a deficit of 100 pts. In some computer games, winning a bag's 1 pt. Not very sure about this.

5. Other than the number, u can bid nil: in which u'd try to win nothing, n ur partner's to cover u up. Make it, n u'll earn 100 pts; fail, n u'll lose 100.

6. Double nil system. U can bid nil even before looking at ur cards, provided ur team's 200 pts behind. Succeed, n u'll get 200 pts; fail, n lose 200. Oh yeah. U can exchange two cards with ur partner after bidding d.n.

7. First team to reach 500 pts wins.

Thus, it's more of a strategic game than floating bridge, which involves winning as many as possible, as the bidding's much more critical.

Those who want to play can always go yahoo games. Think i may be the only one in my class who knows how to play that game. Normally, i'd play this with other bandmates.

Spades again

Enough spades. Nice new class blog template! Thanks gloria.

First day of another lunar yr...

What a start to the new year! Slept till quite late, then did some hw, before taking a nap again! Ha ha. Fine. It's cny now, n cny's supposed to be a festive occasion. But, there's just too much hw to complete, n with the up-coming bai4 nian2, class outings n so on, there's just not much time to complete mammals, hw for two s papers, halogens, gp time ws, n other hw... So, do your work while u've the time (n mood).

Btw, watched some ultraman on SURIA at night... can't really stand the commercials. Wasn't really bothered with the programme itself, as I can't really distinguish between malay n japanese... Too bad the commercials're horrible.

Anyway, class outing on sat. Afternoon.

Robben out for six wks, possibly more. Ha ha. Hope the physios at chelsea suck. It's highly likely for chelsea to perform not as well as they've been doing so far, as before robben came, they've only been grinding out 1-0 wins... All the best for everton this weekend!

New Year's Eve

Ha ha. End of another lunar year today.

Many band pple ponned morn assembly today! Ha ha. Only 3 from my section came, n from "the high sch side", only 1 s4 clarinetist's present. Wanted to pon too, but.. sigh.

So, celebrations today. Performances first, before the street market. Too bad i din really watch the performances. Was busy playing cards at some secluded spot. Sorry to all those who performed (co pple, for instance). Ha ha. But, at least I could hear the music, which's not bad.

Street market: walked around many many times, and was asked to buy food from so many juniors! Ended up spending some six bucks! Nvm. At least, the food's not bad. Slacked around at the class bench, saw mr pang catching some pple (s77) playing cards, before going back to chs with ws. Halfway to chs, we turned back, cos I forgot to bring back the ball! Ha ha. Nvm. Saw a few teachers, n many many old friends! Former band members, classmates, even pri sch friends today! Wow!

Btw, the ball's NOT confiscated now.

Anyway, some spring-cleaning today. Slacked a bit when wiping the floors. Just stood on 2 towels n walked around the house a few times. Ha ha. At least, I did some work lor! My bro's just slacking at the comp!

Hope u guys enjoy ur reunion dinner. Too bad I can't really enjoy it, since all other relatives of mine're overseas. Nvm. Still a reunion dinner!

So, a happy chinese new year, everyone!

12 am (New Year):

Ha ha. Spammed over msn, n couldn't see any fireworks over singapore... so, look towards Malaysia! Small, but still alright.

Sian... really really pissed with my bro. Whatever.

Pri sch gathering

So, went back to qihua for a pri sch gathering tonight with vernon n bing fu. It started becos there're some rumours that our p sch teacher's not very well, n is (PROPER TENSES) going to "kick the bucket" soon, as she put it herself. Just glad that she's alright! Anyway, left sch just after 7, n the gathering's supposed to start at seven!!! Nvm. Later found out that only yu zhi n chia niap're there. So, we were not that late after all! It's quite good to see all of them again, though I couldn't remember the names of all of them.. sigh. Then, had dinner, crapped around, and had a tour of our sch! Everything's changed dramatically. In particular, there're no more pond at the garden! Sigh.. Then, after the guided tour, a small grp of us had our own tour. Two of us, grace n say lin, walked in front first, n the rest of us followed. Grace n say lin tried scaring us by hiding behind some pillar on the third floor, which's all pitch dark. Ha ha. Then, we left, went to fushan garden (just a park) for some chit-chatting, before me n vernon left, the rest going to play basketball...

Oh yeah. Was late for band by more than a period, due to "extended pe" n me not finding the rest of the section. They told me that they're in a203, but in fact, they were in a206!!! Ha ha. Nvm. I don't mind actually...

Played some light soccer (passing) on the void deck with ws n cy. Result: ball got confiscated. Ha ha.

Have to go do my gp now.. sigh.

The slackest weekend?

Sigh.. this may be my slackest weekend in a sch term...

Din mug at all. Only work done's to read through transport in mammals, n tried 1 n a half energetics qn. Just too sian to do any more work... Actually, I din really do any work at all, unless u count moving papers n the pen... Not much dist travelled.

A new year, n a pair of new shoes. Quite a cheap one. Just hope it's durable, very durable, n can withstand frequent (daily) ramming...

CNY coming up... in a holiday mood now!

Band orientation rox!

Ha ha. Band orientation today. Got to sch at 1.30, n saw gloria! Can't believe co having orientation on the same day as band! Nvm. Played cards first, before the j1s went to play some ice-breaker games. Waited a while more before setting off to different parts of singapore for the game shi2 zhi4 lu4 kou3. Think xiao rui (game-master)'s not really happy that many pple kept changing their groups, n I actually don't see any reason for doing so.. Nvm.

First stop: nian2 gao1. My group went to chinatown! Ha ha. Too bad we had to take a bite of some raw nian gao, which actually tasted alright. Then, we continued to walk around chinatown to buy gao1 dian3, dian3 xin1, then xin1 xin1 mai4 pian4 (honeystars). Ha ha. After that, we went taka to look for alwyn (station master), who gave us a list of things to buy, n told us that we're the last group to get that list! Sian... nvm. So, we rushed through that list of stuff (inc kaya toast n green bananas), n flew to esplanade. Sigh... too many pple out during the weekend. Joel, i and eugene soh (double bass) actually got stuck outside the mrt train while others (elaine, michelle, melvin n kuai khoon (I hope I slept the name correctly) left first.. ha ha.

At esplanade, rushed to buy strawberries dipped in chocolate, before going to the roof terrace (the finishing pt)... Our group was the second! Hurray! Shouldn't have gone to chinatown, but nvm. At least, it's fun!

After that, hanged around the roof terrace. Played cards, enjoyed scenery, before settling down to lao1 yu2 sheng1! Hurray! And it's charmaine's birthday today. Happy birthday! Then, lamed around a bit. Some lame jokes, and showed them the 1-2-3 thingy using a bottle.. really freaked those out who guessed correctly, n also freaked the others who can't guess.

Supposed to have a section outing later, but due to lack of pple (only 3!), we decided to go home. My junior, wen li (can call her rejoice), actually wanted us to treat her! But, decided to go home for dinner myself...

So, end a fun day!

Anyway, on the ride back, saw 2 ex-primary sch friends meet! They're like, over forty yrs old, n one already had a daughter of 19 yrs old! Wow! That's quite wonderful lor, n they actually recognised each other! Though I've to say, it's not really correct of me to listen to what others said.. couldn't help it lah. So bored!

Girl Power!!!

Girl power rules! Hurray! Soccer session yesterday: girls played in defence are superb! Only let the juniors had 2 shots on target. Then, soccer after bio spa: the girls' defence's excellent: only 1 goal conceded. Then, after sch: the girls beat the guys 3-1!!! Ha ha.

Just got my sat results. Maths: 800. Verbal: 650. Not bad, considering I din really mug for it.

Slightly screwed up my bio spa, when I used the rounded off values to do t-test.. then, tried to change in the last ten mins.. sian. Think I used the wrong t-critical value too! Whatever. It's over already, n hope any careless mistakes won't be fatal.

Nice day of sectionals today. Ha ha. Some fun n laughter, which's gd, esp at the end of a week.

Yahoo sux.

Every thur's chem day!

Ha ha. Whole day of chem today: chem pract, chem lect, n chem s. Nearly nearly could have been a totally chem day, if there's no gp. Mrs. Goh's late. Ha ha.

Interesting chem pract today: titration with double indicators, n use of data logger's fun! The all-girls grp got a very very nice graph! Excellent! And, mr. lee even played some music when we're doing the experiments! Hope we can have the same thing during the spas!

Soccer after sch: first, played with gloria n yk. Got kicked many many times by Gloria, when she tried to get the ball from me! Ha ha. Then, seniors vs juniors, which's interrupted by wei wen (apollo chairman) who dragged the juniors to go dance... Anyway, seniors won 2-1. Not bad. Girl power!

Really really sorry, laura. Din know that my sis's not coming home along with us, until my dad told me on the car, n there's ONE MORE SEAT. Think I'm going to get niaoed a lot (n have got niaoed a lot) becos of this.

Yf's birthday today! Happy birthday, n have fun being 18 yrs old!

Tmr pract! All the best, guys (and girls). It's alleged that the exp's about the diff in rate of respiration between big n small beans. Supposedly, big beans have a faster rate of respiration. Faster metabolic rate, right? That means, chi-sq test allegedly not likely to come out.. Oh yeah. It's alleged that there're too many anomalies to repeat the t-test, n it's also alleged that no indicator's used. Hope this piece of information allegedly about bio pract tmr's useful, n I din make any mistake in any of these alleged info about pract! Nevertheless, pls study as much as u can, esp about plotting tables, graphs, the standard ways of commenting on trends. Go dig out last yr's practs!

Interesting n frequent use of the word "alleged".

Fantastic!

Somehow, my entry got deleted... nvm.

Brilliant performance by man utd today! Came back twice to seal a 4-2 away win over arsenal! Giggs's excellent, while ronaldo got a double, n o shea made it two goals in two games.

A nicer phy o session today. Partly because the tutor explained while writing the solns on the board, n not wrote first, before explaining. And at least he went throught the basic concepts first.

Made a birthday card today for ee suan (clarinet sl). Not a very nice card, but nvm. Luckily, I'd a phy lect to do it, n phy lect today's not that impt. Mainly some videos.

Trying hard not to fall sick now... The best way to keep free from illness is still laughter n having fun! So, I'm not going to stop playing soccer tmr. Definitely, drinking more water's a must. Too bad that I'm now using a cute puny 380 ml anti-bacteria bottle..

Interesting.. there's a quota for the no. of pple in co for syf.. Quite ridiculous, actually.

VSL

Got niaoed by mr. lee today, after playing soccer during the break. Ha ha. Whatever.

Anyway, now, on tue, there's only 1 break! Sigh.. the last period of maths tut on thur's brought forward... Frankly, I preferred a double break, since there'll be more soccer sessions (not that we're tired after that becos of soccer- look at today's gp lesson!), n there's no need to wait for another 40s doing nothing for chem s. Ha ha. Whatever. Less soccer: considered it as a rest!

Gp lesson today... er. Think we're just too tired to pay much attention. The workout doesn't help at all, n washing my face isn't that effective. Nvm. At least I got a free choc for just crapping a little by saying who krushchev's! Not bad.

Oh yeah. Think I forgot to mention yesterday that in my rush to change before phy s, I dropped my hp n wallet, the former breaking into parts. Ha ha. Thanks to those (jo, jasmine, jiayi, laura, liming, gloria at least) who helped pick them up and fix it!

Crappy soccer session today. Nvm. A slight injury to my left thumb. Not that serious, but still, enough to cause some disturbance.
